Questions parents usually ask.
A practical starting point for understanding how the studio works.
What language are STEAM SQUAD classes taught in?
Classes are English-rich and designed for children in Taipei. Teachers support understanding with demonstration, visuals, repetition, and hands-on context so students can participate confidently.
Does my child need LEGO, coding, or robotics experience first?
No. We place children based on age, confidence, and readiness. First Steps, K3 ESM, and Build Club One are built as friendly entry points.
How do you choose the right course level?
We look at age, grade, previous experience, attention span, and what kind of challenge motivates the child. A trial class is the easiest way to check fit.
Are the classes only about LEGO?
LEGO is one important hands-on tool, especially in the engineering pathway, but STEAM SQUAD also includes coding, design thinking, 3D design concepts, fabrication, science, and English-rich problem solving.
Do parents receive updates?
The first version of this website does not include a parent portal. In class, we focus on visible student work, clear communication, and practical guidance about next steps.
Can my child join camps or events without weekly classes?
Yes, camps and events can be good entry points. Some advanced events may recommend previous experience, and we will make that clear when schedules are published.
